SPRING BRANCH
The area between Beltway 8 on the west, 610 on the east, I-10 on the south and
Highway 290 and Clay to the north is home to the über-eclectic Spring Branch.
There are probably more public and private schools here than in most subdivisions in town. Private schools include AWTY International School; School of the
Woods–a Montessori; St. Mark’s; the Regis School and more. There are about
26 public schools including Spring Branch Elementary, Spring Woods High
School, valley Oaks Elementary and Cornerstone Academy. Plus HCC – Spring
