FOOD iBURN Don’t let the name fool you. This isn’t an Apple®-related burning device. IT’S ACTUALLY THE CITY’S ONLY HOT SAUCE SHOP, and owner JAMES A. BECK JR. states it best: “iBurn is a manifestation of everything I’ve always wanted in a spicy specialty shop, but never found when visiting hot sauce shops around the world.” There really is an exploding fiery foods industry, and if you’re a spicy food lover in search of the next burn, iBurn is where you’ll find it. The store is shrine-like in its quest to offer all things spicy, with over 500 hot sauces in stock on any given day. But Beck is quick to point out that not everything is hot. Although you will find the hottest products on the market, Brock shares, “We also carry a wide variety of barbecue products, jams and jellies, condiments, pickled products, Bloody Mary mixes in mild, medium, hot and ultra-hot.” Get ready to feel the burn. www.iburn.com By Ida Sameri | Photography by Anthony Rathbun 12 L O C A L | january 16
