McLaren opened up shop last month and is one of only 16 dealerships in North America. Tony Joseph, President of McLaren North America, stated: “We are thrilled to add McLaren Houston to our dealer family. It is a key dealership in an important market, and we look forward to a successful partnership.” Located at 16210 North Freeway at Beltway 8 and I-45 North, the high-tech 22,000sf showroom features a wide array of tangible color and material samples, as well as an advanced digital configurator, allowing clients to fully customize their McLaren orders. www.mclarenhouston.com ON OUR RADAR A Whole Lott of Entertainment is what’s coming to Houston. Founded by two friends (who coincidentally share the same maiden name), Lott Entertainment is the brainchild of ALLISON LOTT who brings the marketing know-how and KATHRYN LOTT, the production background to “fill the void between you and your next big idea.” The service-based organization specializes in consulting, project management and special events and already calls the University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, Texas Monthly and Legacy Community Health clients. But the pair’s passion for the arts and the city of Houston led them to create a nonprofit branch (within six months of launching the for-profit) called Lott Entertainment Presents to fill the void in the performing arts scene by bringing shows from outside the city that push the boundaries of traditional theatre. With provocative, immersive and deliberately different works, Lott Entertainment Presents will enrich the material available as well as utilize its traveling artists to enrich the lives of local artists by providing valuable educational programs such as audition workshops, singer/songwriter workshops and artist conversations. And since they’ve thought of everything, Lott Entertainment Presents is creating a National Network with partnerships in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin for developing artists to help guide their students and provide connections to get them acclimated in a new city. www.lottentertainmentpresents.com Get your paint ball on.
