Heights Mercantile couldn’t have picked a better day than the same day as
the Astros Parade celebrating the World Series win. People walked, biked and
drove in throughout the early evening to check out all the new tenants in the new-
est commercial retail space in the Heights. A craft cocktail bar featuring La Hora
Azul tequila, Gold Bar whiskey, Alkemist gin and Fair vodka presented in glass
mixers kept guests‘ thirst quenched. Each tenant welcomed in their own way from
Aesop giving buyers a specialty local made granola by Grey Gardens,
to Chubbies serving hot dogs and Karbach beer in their coozies. Saint Arnold
flowed at Melange Creperie, MALK sampled their seasonal nog at Lululemon
and even a dog bar was set up on the trail to take care of the pups. Flashbar
Photo Booth captured the moments (www.flashbarphotobooth.com) and DJ
Hiram created the ambiance. It was a true neighborhood sip + stroll.
