DAY FOR NIGHT STEPS UP ITS GAME
Music lover, rejoice! Day for Night returns December
15–17 for a second year, with performances by
Nine Inch Nails, Thom Yorke, Solange, Justin, St.
Vincent, Tyler the Creator and more. Held at the
former µain Post Office downtown, the festival is a
current snapshot of popular music, as well as a show-
case for trailblazers who continue to cross over from
the fringes to become influencers. A limited number of
passes are still available. For more information, visit

JEWISH CULTUREFEST COMES TO TOWN
WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
SPRING STREET BEER AND WINE GARDEN OPENS
Cheers to First Ward! Located at 1920 Houston Avenue (just blocks from our office!), Spring
Street Beer and Wine Garden is now open. With a low-key, relaxed neighborhoody vibe, the
bar also features a large outdoor seating area, that is, naturally, dog-friendly. A rotating cast of
food trucks, including 006 Pizza, Mr. Sizzles, Churrascos to Go and Cousins Maine Lobster,
show up to provide the bar bites. Spring Street offers 25 different varieties of wine, more than
a dozen beers on draft, as well as a full bar with cocktails crafted by former Le Colonial bar-
tender Sonia Thornhill. Find Spring Street on Facebook or visit www.springstreethouston.com.
