The Children’s Museum of Houston raised more
than $166,000 during the 2017 Friends and
Families Luncheon on March 1 at the River Oaks
Country Club. Chairs Rachel Regan, Millette
Sherman and Michelle Smith welcomed inspi-
rational gymnast Jen Bricker, whose infectious
personality shined during her inspiring speech
about living a triumphant life no matter the cards
you are dealt.
The luncheon helped sup port the museum’s early
childhood and parenting programs which focus
on building parenting skills, providing informa-
tion on child development and engaging families
in the joy of learning together. Nearly 400
parents, educators, families and friends came
together for awareness and philanthropy at this
enlightening event.

EVENT: DE BOULLE X ROLEX 24 EVENT
WHERE: RIVER OAKS DISTRICT
About 100 guests were welcomed to the de Boulle’s
private party at River Oaks District to celebrate the recent
victory of Nick Boulle and his team, James French, Kyle
Masson and Pato O’Ward, at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The team took top honors in the Prototype Challenge (PC)
Class at the grueling 24-hour sports car endurance race.
Nick Boulle, the 27-year-old son of Denis and Karen
Boulle—of de Boulle, an independent jewelry salon in
Dallas and Houston—anchored in the final segment
and cruised to victory. Boulle made history being part
of the youngest group of drivers to win the 24 Hours of
Daytona and the first authorized ROLEX dealer to win the
prestigious endurance race.
Nick Boulle, James French, Kyle Masson and Pato
O’Ward were on hand at the event and donned their
special Rolex Daytona timepieces that were awarded to
race winners. Race cars were also on display outside the
salon storefront. DJ Seneca kept the crowd entertained
while guests sipped on Patron cocktails such as Boulle’s
Blood Orange Margarita and noshed on passed bites of
mini short rib grilled cheese sandwiches, petite buffalo
chicken tacos with celery root slaw, checkered flag cook-
ies and peanut butter truffles splashed with artful edible
red and silver paint.
