Benefiting the Jennie Sealy Hospital at UTMB,
the San Luis Salute was a hit—it sold out within
six hours with 1,700 in attendance! With a
national spotlight on the event, the crew from
Tilman Fertitta’s new reality show on CNBC,
Billion Dollar Buyer, was filming scenes during
the Salute for the series which premiered last
month. Notable guests such as former
Congresswoman Gabby Gifford and husband,
former NASA astronaut, Captain Mark Kelly;
Senator John Whitmire; President of UTMB Dr.
David Callender and wife Tonya; University of
Houston Chancellor and President Renu Khator
and husband Dr. Suresh Khator and many more
enjoyed cocktails, masked partygoers and Mr.
Worldwide himself, Pitbull.

WHERE: MR. PEEPLES PENTHOUSE, THIRD FLOOR
Raising over $100,000 for Fresh Arts, guests enjoyed a great
night featuring a fine art and lifestyle auction, painting splattered
and sprayed to celebrate Fresh Art’s impact on Houston’s art
community, great music, a paint ball shooting range, body painting, art cars and delicious food and drinks.
