MD BRUSH
RAY SUPER REMOTE
So I was pleased to use a creation from a
Pearland hygienist that uses no battery but
rather ingenuity. The MD Brush has a head
that is offset from the handle by a 45°
angle. The ergonomically shaped handle fits securely in a user’s hand to better perform the Bass Method – a back
and forth motion with the bristles tilted
toward the gums at a 45° angle.
Inventor Michael Davidson has received
national acclaim with the MD Brush,
with online distribution and in-store
sales to come soon. Six brushes can
be purchased for $50, and with no
battery to charge that is something
to bring a smile to your face.

This multifaceted device can control
most everything in your home theater,
with a sleek design that looks and feels
like a smartphone. Its color touchscreen
shows what is available, has tactile
keys on the side for volume and mute,
and even a sleep/wake button.
There are all sorts of futuristic universal
remotes on the market today. Some are
confusing to use while others are large
and cumbersome (though hard to lose
between the couch cushions). The soonto-be-released Ray Super Remote is
none of those things.
Brushing your teeth is not that sexy but there are
several electric toothbrushes on the market that
claim to make that duty easier. These batteryoperated devices are not cheap and include
bells-and-whistles like Bluetooth connectivity to
monitor your brushing via an app. Cleaning
your teeth should not be that difficult.
The Ray remote makes watching live TV
easy by pulling up local programming
information and allowing for search by
channel or by specific content, using a
pop-up keypad.
The remote links to your WiFi network for easy setup, and utilizes
Bluetooth and Infrared to work with devices both old and new. It can
be used with over 1,200 brands and 200,000 devices. $199

Selfie photos can be identified quickly as they are generally
not as well lit as they should be.
Quite simply because those front-facing
cameras on smart phones don’t have a
front-facing flash. Instead of waiting for
Apple® or Samsung® to create that feature,
a company called Techxar has just the solution.
This accessory slips on the bottom of your phone
and shines a bright light for better photos and videos.
The 250 lumen light is brightness adjustable and has a
200mAh battery to charge your phone when attached.
Techxar models come in various sizes to fit the most recent
iPhones® and Android™ phones including Samsung, LG,
Motorola and Nokia. $79 | www.techxar.com
