EVENT Hats In The Park
WHERE McGovern Centennial Gardens
and Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion
Hundreds of guests arrived in their beautiful
spring hats, sipped Prosecco, enjoyed the
sights of the beautiful Centennial Garden and
gathered around listening to heartwarming stories from Hermann Park Conservancy Board
Chair Danny David, chairs Estela Cockrell and
Denise Monteleone, honoree Kathrine
McGovern and Mayor Annise Parker. For her
amazing support of the Centennial Gardens
project, Conservancy Executive Director Doreen
Stoller presented the Garden’s namesake,
Kathrine McGovern, with a tree that will be
planted in the Gardens. Raising over
$360,000, this was the most successful Hats
in the Park event to date!
