Welcoming nearly 700 guests for an evening
filled with dinner, dancing and live bidding,
The University of St. Thomas has done it
again with their 65th Mardi Gras Gala.
Honoring longtime benefactor and Houston
philanthropist Charlie Thomas and his family
as well as raising more than $1.1 million in
support of student scholarships, this gala was
definitely one to remember. Special thanks to
UST President and First Lady Robert and
Marianne Ivany and Mardi Gras Co-Chairs
Trini, Jan and Oniel Mendenhall for hosting
such a successful event!

WHERE Proof Rooftop Lounge
Celebrating the launch of a new company
called URBN paint, HGTV design star winner
Antonio Ballatore was a guest co-artist with
Gino Vian, teaching the crowd how to paint
with a “twist.” Local artists gathered around
to show off their skills and demonstrate their
exceptional talents while the audience
enjoyed drinks and appetizers.
