WOOSTER’S GARDEN
BLAME IT ON THE RAIN, YEAH...YEAH…
Boy, did it rain a lot in March. And the
pollen showed up. And then it rained
more. After tiring of waiting for a clear
sunny day, we finally got fed up and
headed towards “Mid-trose” (Wooster’s
is located right next to the Vietnamese
empire, Mai’s), wipers a-blazing,
weather notwithstanding.
First and foremost, Wooster’s has a
parking lot! A spacious non-valet parking lot. Even though it was wet, we
can’t emphasize enough how nice this
is. Also, Wooster’s did its renovations
just right. Great use of industrial materials (metals and masonry) with nice
thoughtful touches throughout the interior and exterior of the building. That is a
stellar patio. Cabana-style seating on both ends and plenty of other tables will
be a great option when the weather improves. Once the rain stopped, they
also were thoughtful enough to put out portable propane heaters and the patio
filled up real quick. Step inside the massive window/wall/sliding door and
you get a real taste of what Wooster’s did with the place. Yeah, that’s H
