As president , you are responsible for the society and lead all of the meetings !!
Your jobs will also include :
- Chair and run meeting of committee and sub-committees - Be the sole spokesperson of the LMSS - Run the LMSS ordinary meetings , hustings and AGM - Responsible for the Presidents gown , the President ’ s medal and the mortarboard - Responsible for the calendar of events - To write in the President ’ s Book - General LMSS Committee Duties

What the LMSS Constitution says :
1 . Be Chairperson of all Meetings of the Society , of the Full Committee ; and of all sub-committees
2 . Be the sole spokesperson of the Society in all matters
3 . Be responsible for arranging the Calendar of Events for his or her term
4 . Be responsible for the discipline of Members in relation to Society business and activities
5 . Be responsible for the conduct of Society Members when engaged in all Society business and activities
6 . Be the custodian of the President ’ s Medal , President ’ s Gown , and President ’ s Mortarboard in conjunction with Article 22
7 . Record a personal log for his or her successor in the President ’ s Book
8 . Be responsible for any other such duties as the Trustees may decide .
