As the new year approaches, 50% of the population is gearing up
to start resolutions, new seasons for their lives or decisions for a
healthier lifestyle due to feelings of lost time and regretful situations
longing to leave them in the old year. As time moves forward, our
mind encourages us that a new year can bring new seasons and
hopefully, redeemed time.
Romans 12:2 says, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be
able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and
perfect will.
Naturally, a new year will bring new seasons and situations, but if
we really want to see a new year, we must enter the new year with
a new mind. We live in a world locked into time and patterns, but
God created the world and has the power to recreate and reassemble
time for us, not only in the beginning of the year but any time.
Our part is to allow our minds to be renewed so that we can break
out of the old patterns, allow [
