She credits her church upbringing and her grandfather as being influential in her spiritual development. As a young child he would give his grandchildren scripture cards and have them memorize the Word of God. It turns out that his simple method of helping his loved ones learn about God paid off for Blair during the tough times. She often pulled on 2Tim1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” One day in early 2017 Blair was having serious pain, numbness in her leg and heavy bleeding which she attributed to her weak uterus but her husband suggested she see a doctor. During that medical visit she was diagnosed with uterine cancer. “ Doctors called for a full hysterectomy to contain the cancer but this 31 year old was concerned with all of the side effects of hormone replacement. Stunned by the diagnosis Blair called out to God. She was shaken but her husband was a rock. He called on God and believed He would answer. Meanwhile, Blair went straight home and went to bed to deal with this news. She said “I didn’t fully believe that I deserved a miracle.” It looks like your God replaced your tumors with a baby. ” When she took the pregnancy public she was instantly attacked on social media with followers posting “You’re a fraud – You’re a false prophet.” Despite the naysayers Blair has become a beacon of hope for many women who thought they were sterile. Her story which aired on the Christian Broadcasting Network had more than 4 million views at the time of this publication. She says the testimonies are still pouring in “There are women sending me positive pregnancy tests. Women that had lost all faith.” Blair thinks these miracles are all a part of God’s plan to show Himself strong in the last days. While she is “carrying a gift from God” Blair continues to pray for others. She and her husband are singing a new song “Miracles Can Happen” which will be out in 2018. Days later, as she prepped for surgery, the doctors did an ultra sound to measure the masses and instead they found the tumors had dissolved, she was cancer free and she was six weeks PREGNANT! The doctors were beside themselves and started laughing saying “It looks like your God replaced your tumors with a baby.” Blair says she carried her ultrasound around to remind herself she is carrying a miracle. 12 | LIVING WISELY LIVING WISELY | 13
