Reducing Social Isolation
Most of our Neighbourhood Forums are
working on projects that aim to reduce
social isolation. We have a particular
focus on people who may be isolated
as a result of dementia (people living
with dementia and their carers).
Information Hub at Leyland Market
As part of the Social Isolation projects,
we run an information stall at Leyland
Market once a month. Here you can
find out about support services such as
Alzheimer’s Society, Age Concern
Central Lancashire, Progress Lifeline,
and many more. In addition, we have
lots of information about social
activities happening in the area, as well
as advice on how to stay safe and
secure at home.
BOB-IN Café
On the third Friday of every month.
1pm to 4pm at Lostock Library, Watkin
Lane, Lostock Hall.
Why not join us in an environment that
is warm, safe and welcoming for all. We
welcome:
• Individuals or groups
• Anyone wh feels lonely or isolated
• People living with dementia or
suffering from memory loss & their
carers
You will have the chance to meet others
in a friendly environment who you can
chat with.

games afternoon & as well as an
information hub, there will be activities
& games to enjoy.
