Be patient with yourself and with
others. When word gets out that you
are trying to lose weight, you will find
everyone is an expert. I listened
patiently and sifted through the
well-meaning ideas to find the pearls
that really helped.
Focus on goals. Life can be hectic
and it really helps to set daily,
weekly, and monthly goals for
specific actions such as sleep,
water intake, and exercising.
Have a positive attitude and
surround yourself in positive
thoughts. Guilt is such a poor
motivator, but a positive attitude
helps through the discouraging times.
