Have you ever wondered if the makeup you use every day is safe? Aside from the unknown ingredients that may not be so great for you, makeup can get quite expensive. With just a few basic ingredients, you can easily create your own natural, and much more affordable makeup. TIP Mist Veráge Toner as a foundation primer and a makeup setting spray. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • Wide mouth jar • 1 package cotton pads • 2 squirts Veráge™ cleanser • 2 tablespoons dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil • 1–2 drops Lavender or Geranium essential oil* (optional) • 1 cup water *Avoid contact with eyes. DIRECTIONS: 1. Mix Fractionated Coconut Oil and cleanser with water. 2. Microwave in 10 second increments until melted and well blended. 3. Mix in essential oil. 4. Place cotton pads in jar. 5. Pour liquid mixture over pads in the jar. Press pads down to help soak up the liquid. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • 1 teaspoon beeswax • 1–2 teaspoons shea butter • 1 teaspoon coconut oil • 1–2 drops Cinnamon or Peppermint essential oil • 2 empty lip balm tubes Note: • For red hues: ¼ teaspoon (or more for color) of beet root powder • For brown/tan hues: ¼ teaspoon (or more for color) of cocoa powder, a tiny pinch of cinnamon or turmeric to get the shade you want • For matte texture: ¼ teaspoon bentonite clay–use with a color DIRECTIONS: 1. On low heat, melt beeswax, Shea butter, and coconut oil together. 2. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes. 3. Add essential oil and your color of choice; mix well. 4.
