Leaving a Footprint all around the World From the beginning, dōTERRA has had a mission to give back to those in need. With the creation of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, this mission has come to fruition. The success of this foundation and the life-changing projects that have taken place, can all be tied back to you. Through the generous donations of time and money, you have made an impressive impact seen and heard throughout the world. The following is just a glimpse of the incredible projects that have been made possible by you. Cō-Impact Sourcing® Guatemala Sika’abe Multi-Functional Workshop and Equipment: Sika’abe expanded its classroom space and class offerings. On the newly purchased land, they constructed a multifunctional workshop and purchased some equipment so students can learn small engine repair, carpentry, and other courses. dōTERRA International continues to provide all overhead and administrative costs of the foundation so that 100 percent of all donations contributed to the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® go directly to those receiving aid. Microcredit Funding Mentors International The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® is proud to be partners with the micro-lending organization Mentors Interna- tional. Providing credit to those who would otherwise not have financing opportunities or whose only lending options are with unethical and even dangerous lenders, the microcredit fund helps lift the poor from poverty while elevating communities through economic development. Maria Pillaca Noa: Maria was first introduced to Mentors Peru by a former teacher. Her first loan was $167, and was to help her and her husband grow their furniture/upholstery business. Maria is currently saving to buy a new sewing machine that will allow her to more efficiently sew different kinds of fabric. Haiti Wellness Advocate Partner Projects 74 Disaster Relief and Repair Project: After the devastating Category 4 Hurricane Matthew destroyed much of Haiti at the end of 2016, the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation® got to work repairing and rebuilding. Several water wells in Les Cayes were repaired, 588 roofs were repaired, and several community build- ings have been rebuilt, including an elementary school for 152 students. 6. 7. 8. 9.
