Nepal Bulgaria Guatemala Kenya
Five expeditions to Nepal in 2018 provided
several service opportunities. In Makwanpur,
Wellness Advocates laid cement blocks for
the hospital driveway in preparation for its
inauguration. Expeditioners to Makwanpur
also worked on a clean stove project, installing
metal stoves in home kitchens to provide
clean indoor air quality. In Ramechhap,
Wellness Advocates helped paint the new
Gokul Ganga Higher Secondary School, as
well as many of the classroom desks. During
the December expedition, dōTERRA Founding
Executive Rob Young inaugurated this school. Wellness Advocates who traveled to Bulgaria
in July of 2018 worked at an orphanage in
Dobrich for children and young adults ages
3-18. Expeditioners painted murals on the
outside of the building and constructed
and planted a flower garden, as well as
viewed recently refinished bathroom facilities
throughout the orphanage building funded by
the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation ® . To support the Sikaab’e workshop
project that the dōTERRA Healing Hands
Foundation and CHOICE Humanitarian-
Guatemala facilitated in 2018, Wellness
Advocates on the Guatemala expeditions
backfilled the foundation on the new
workshop site. Participants also moved
cinder blocks that will be used to
complete the walls of the workshop. The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation
donated 560 desks to two Kenya Schools:
the Mwamose Primary School and the
Kiwegu Primary School. Working alongside the
students, expeditioners on the 2018 Kenya trip
sanded and painted many of these desks that
are now furnishing these two facilities.

Every year, dōTERRA ® hosts several expeditions
to Cō-Impact Sourcing ® locations so Wellness
Advocates can experience the sourcing process of
the products. On each of these trips, expeditioners
have the opportunity to participate in service projects
benefitting the people of the community.
