Feminine Hygiene | Days for Girls World Record Impact At the 2017 dōTERRA convention, Wellness Advocates assisted the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation in breaking an existing GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ record for the most personal hygiene kits assembled in one hour. These kits have been donated to several Cō-Impact Sourcing ® and Days for Girls expeditions throughout 2017 and 2018, including two notable dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation projects in 2018. 1,800 200 KITS dōTERRA ® Days of Service dōTERRA hosted 14 service projects on the dōTERRA campus throughout 2018 benefitting Days for Girls. The projects involved 1,224 dōTERRA employees and local Wellness Advocates who spent a total of 2,901 hours sewing and preparing various components for the Days for Girls kits. Wellness Advocate Work in Kenya With the support of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation ® , Wellness Advocates have assisted Days for Girls in building a sewing center in Kenya, and distributing 4,500 kits in country. 32 dōTERRA HEALING HANDS FOUNDATION I ANNUAL REPORT 2018 14 Service Projects 1,224 Volunteers KITS Refugee Support Rwanda School In October 2018, the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation sent 1,800 Days for Girls reusable feminine hygiene kits to Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon, and began work to send kits to the Lesvos, Greece, refugee camps. In December 2018, 200 kits were donated to the area of Rwanda where the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation is working on a school construction project. The kits will benefit both the students at the Rwanda school as well as members of the surrounding community. 2,901 Hours of Service New Guatemala Sewing Center Thanks to the support of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, a new Days for Girls sewing center was established and funded in Guatemala in 2018.
