t’s an age-old dilemma; Finding a decorating style that suits his
taste and her style is sure to cause some conflict. Often what she
has in mind is definitely not going to be his cup of tea and vice versa
and thus the Design War Begins! It’s all about compromising and
marr ying your looks to create a look that works for both of you. Some of the
most interesting spaces are a blend of masculine and feminine elements which
make a space personal, eclectic and cozy.
Look for common elements such as size, colour or material when meshing looks so
they complement each other without b eing too matchy or too stereotypically
masculine or feminine. Going with more natural and neutral elements is always
the easiest and safest route, but creating a gender neutral space doesn’t mean
it has to be beige and boring. It’s time to let opposites attract.

and neutral hotel look. Avoid overly feminine pastels and floral patterns. Create a
serene getaway that works for both your styles. Create interest through lighting and
