strong adaptations thanks to the first director Terence Young who
gave it this touch of class, helping James Bond to become a complete
gentleman. Pierce Brosnan was perfect in the interpretation of the

I know you're acted in a movie, how was this experience con-
sidering your passion?
I felt a constant pression, both because I was afraid of not getting
the part and it was on my dear Como Lake. When my granpa was
a child he had a home facing the Como Lake. I got the part stres-
sing everybody until they gave it to me. In conclusion among three
movie extra lists I was at the top.
When I came to the set, the actors costume designer welcomed
me after having told to his colleagues he followed me because I
was an important man. He asked me to arrive low profile wearing
a pair of sneakers and a standard watch, then he watched me and
said I have played the main doctor's role and had to push Daniel
Craig on wheelchair. He said me cast gave me all I needed, I had
to bring with me only elegant shoes and a watch. I arrived showing
an accurate look, he let me try clothes and touched up them, staff
cut me goatee and hair, maked up and photographed. At 5 a.m.
there were convocations for the scene, loaded me and other
movie extras on boat to reach Villa del Balbianello, it was really
cold because the night before it snowed on Val D'Intelvi.
The day was amazing and sky was bright. The director changed

hanno data. Alla fine in tre liste di comparse ero al primo posto.
Quando arrivai, fui accolto dal costumista degli attori, che aveva
detto ai colleghi che mi avrebbe seguito lui perché ero uno impor-
tante. Mi aveva detto di arrivare low profile con un paio di sneakers
e un orologio normale, poi mi guardò e mi disse che sarei stato il
dottore numero uno e che avrei dovuto spingere Daniel Craig in
sedia a rotelle. Mi aveva detto che mi davano tutto, dovevo solo
portare scarpe eleganti e un orologio. Arrivai con un look accurato,
mi fece provare gli abiti e me li ritoccò, mi tagliarono il pizzo e i ca-
pelli, truccarono e fotografarono. Alle cinque del mattino ci furono
le convocazioni per la scena, ci caricarono sul battello per arrivare
a Villa del Balbianello sulla punta, faceva tanto freddo perché la notte
prima aveva nevicato sulla Val D’Intelvi.
La giornata fu spettacolare e il cielo era terso. Con il fatto che aveva
