THE STYLE
Our Made in Italy is a great value point in the whole world and
the Istituto Burgo, with its presence abroad, spreads this value.
What should the student starting at the Burgo Institute expect?
The first thing we know from experience is that the students,
regardless of their nationality, expect to actually learn a profession.
We have more than three hundred foreign students who take the
various courses and they are the ones who testify to the objective
differences between us and other institutes that provide courses
with other methods.
For example, the French, the first in the history of fashion to talk
about trends, today look to us and our teaching methods to
instruct their students.
Director, after Armani, Valentino and Ferrè, according to you, are
we ready for a generational change in the Italian design scene?
I think we've already had changes, but there's a great truth: some
great designers are not replaceable. Many may try to repeat but
the original will never lose its value.
Over the years the institute was part of several collaborations
with major fashion houses, for example the event with Missoni
in the early 2000’s. Which collaboration represented most

Dopo Armani, Valentino e Ferrè, secondo Lei Direttore, siamo pron-
