By air, byland, by sea...
Maybe even by rail!
Whether your destination is Palm Coast or the
Reunion area in Central Florida, you’ll find
there is quite an array of expedient options
when it comes to planning your trip.
Headed to Palm Coast?
By Highway: Just 20 miles south of
historic St. Augustine, Interstate 95
will drop you at our doorstep. If you prefer a
more scenic route, take AIA and gently ease
yourself into that perfect Florida state of mind.
By Air: A number of airports service the Palm
Coast area, with Daytona Beach having the
nearest international airport at 35 miles distant. Effective January 2016, JetBlue offers new non-stop service
from Daytona to New York’s JFK International. Local
Flagler County Airport in Bunnell, just 12 miles from
Palm Coast, can handily accommodate corporate jet
and private aircraft traffic. Flagler also has a seaplane
landing area as well as a helipad! Northeast Florida
Regional Airport in St. Augustine, located 30 miles
away, offers new non-stop service from Trenton, NJ via
Frontier Airlines, and also caters to private and corporate aircraft. 51 miles away, New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport in Volusia County, 15 miles south of
Daytona, is another alternative for business jet
aircraft. Less than 100 miles distant, Orlando Sanford
Intl., Jacksonville Intl., and Orlando Intl. airports all offer
full service to visitors to the Palm Coast area.
By Sea: For access by water, boaters can
cruise the scenic Intracoastal Waterway, which
runs for most of the length of the Eastern Seaboard,
and can deposit you right at your own Palm Coast
dock, or a slip at a convenient local marina. One of
three segments of the Intracoastal, the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway extends from Key West, Florida, to
Norfolk, Virginia, and is regularly utilized by recreational
boaters as well as travelers arriving from the north.
By Rail: Consider the convenience of having
your car, van, motorcycle, SUV, small boat or
jet-ski transported by Amtrak’s Auto Train non-stop
from Lorton, VA (Washington, DC area) to Sanford,
Florida. Just pack your car like a suitcase, hop on board
a companion Amtrak passenger coach, sit back, and
enjoy the comfortable ride!
Headed to Reunion/Central Florida?
By Highway: The Orlando area and Reunion
can be accessed from Interstate 95, which
connects with Interstate 4 in the vicinity of South Daytona Beach. After reaching Orlando, Reunion is located
just 20 miles southeast off US Highway 192 West.
Celebration and Lake Nona are also nearby.
By Air: Orlando International Airport, situated
13 miles from the heart of Orlando, offers daily
or frequent flights to many popular destinations in
Europe and South America. Over a dozen Canadian
cities are served non-stop. Other international destinations served from Orlando include Jamaica, the
Bahamas, Mexico, Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil,
and Dubai.
Other Central Florida airport options are Orlando
Sanford International located 26 miles from Orlando in
Sanford; Daytona Beach International 53 miles distant;
Orlando Melbourne International in Melbourne 70 miles
away; and Tampa International just 90 miles away.
Local airports offering business jet accommodation,
and ranging from 4 to 56 miles distant include Orlando
Executive Airport, Kissimmee Gateway Airport, Walt
Disney World Airport, Leesburg International, Gilbert
Airport in Winter Haven, and Merritt Island Airport. New
Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport is located almost equidistant between Palm Coast and the Orlando area.
By Rail: Amtrak’s Silver Service connects New
York City to Miami, with stops in Jacksonville
and Orlando. Services include Viewliner Sleeping
accommodations, or Coach Class seating. Relax and
enjoy the scenery! n
