Hispanic Heritage Month Essa Contest Winners PERUVIAN AND AMERICAN CUISINE Peru and the United States are 2 different countries on different continents with unique cuisine styles where the flavors making the dishes reflect the palate of the people. The Peruvian cuisine is considered one of the best in South America and is known around the world in the last few years. Peruvian people eat mostly tradi- tional food from their own country and keep their ancestral recipes, flavors, colors and unique styles. Peru has many dishes in different regions but the one that represents the country is 48 Peruvian Ceviche. However, American food has many diffe- rent cuisine styles. The restaurants are always trying to create new dishes, flavors, and fusions with other recipes. Fast food is very popular in the USA. We can find it everywhere at low prices. Also, Amer- ican food has a lot of influences from diffe- rent parts of the world because of immigrants who arrived many years ago bringing their own recipes.
