SUMAN DANGOL ESL 5 SOCIAL WORK, MY DREAM JOB When I was very young, my father taught me that you live for other people and live to be an example in society. I have always been impressed by Lord Buddha, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Sonia Gutierrez and Carlos Rosario. In other words, I would like to do something for society. My dream job is to be a social worker. Doing social work for the most underprivileged children in my country of Nepal is what I would like to do. I want to help chil- dren have loving homes, excellent education, and healthy and secure lives. Yes, it is hard work but I like it. It is not easy to manage, fund, follow government rules and regulations, and collect for the most needy chil- dren. I will start this job with 10 underprivileged children from the coun- tryside. I have experience and interest in this job and have friends working in NGOs. All these things inspire me to live not for myself but to live for other people. My mission is to provide for 50 to 60 underprivi- leged children. I hope I will be successful in my dream job. 27
