SUGAY VASQUEZ ESL 5 MY SPECIAL PERSON My special person is my husband, Oswaldo. I have known my husband for 20 years. I met him at work when I was 17 years old in Caracas, Venezuela. He was a travel agent and I worked very close to his agency. I was working in a travel agency too and we started dating in 1998. I fell in love on our first date and the same year, he married me. I was 18 years old and I have been so happy ever since. He is an important person in my life. He is shy but with me he is outgoing. He always 26 makes me laugh a lot. He is sensitive and strong at the same time. He is the smartest person that I have ever met in my life. Currently, he works in construction but right now he is off. His hobbies are watching TV (mostly sports like baseball, golf, and soccer), travel, and reading the newspaper. I like it when he helps me in the kitchen or cleans the house. We have lots of fun. He calls me every day to find out how I am. He is always very special with me and our children. He always reads a story to our daughter before she goes to sleep. Sometimes, he picks her up at school and tells her funny things or they sing together. With our son, he likes playing basketball and dominos. Before we moved to this country, they used to play in domino and basketball competitions. Finally, he is the best father that I could have found for my children. Photo by John Asato/Unsplash
