FATOUMATA BANGOURA ESL 4 UNTITLED I would like to tell you about my life when I was in my country of Guinea before I came to the United States of America. I couldn’t understand or speak English well but now I am learning to speak it. My listening and vocabulary were very bad but now they are acceptable. In Guinea, I used to drive my car but now I can’t because I don’t have a license. I often went to the public market but now Photo by UNICEF Guinea/Flickr 24 I can’t. I could visit my family every weekend but now I can’t. I also used to work in my garden and I could organize the family meeting but now I can’t. I didn’t know many things but I know now and I really see the differ- ence between my life in my country and my life in the United States.
