EXCERPT: MY FIRST IMPRESSION
OF CARLOS ROSARIO
Upon arriving at this
prestigious school, the
first thing I noticed was
the excellent organi-
zation and impres-
sive installation. The
announcements and
work impress the visitor.
I took a morning to test
my English ability and
was received with enthu-
siasm, and with the
corresponding evalua-
tion,they informed me
I would go to Level 2.
When I started my first
class, it was overwhelm-
ing to get acquainted
with new partners and
a new language. When
I listened to my teacher
and the more I spoke,
the longer my face
lengthened because my
English was very poor.
I could not understand
anything. Maybe a word
here or there but the
entire sentences were
impossible to under-
stand. Today I share
with many colleagues
from different countries.
