English as a Second
Language
We offer eight (8) levels
of ESL. The beginning level
classes teach basic vocabu-
lary, grammar, pronunciation,
reading, and writing. A variety
of field trips and content-based
activities enhance the students'
understanding and the vision of
their local and global commu-
nity.
The advanced ESL levels aim
to bridge the gap for students
ready to enter college or the
workforce by providing the train-
ing necessary to speak, read,
write, and understand English
in real work and life situations.
All classes are student-centered
and focus on helping students
achieve individual long- and
short-term goals.
