The Beginning (Excerpt) by Tada Nui TADA! Yeah, this is my name, and I am going to bring you to my world. A beautiful quiet day at home, I was cooking lunch with simple ingredients that I looked up on the Internet and saw on YouTube. Normally if I really want to cook I will call my mother to help me. Even though my food was still not delicious, I kept experimenting withdifferent ingredients and working with my recipes. But! Wait! Oh my God, then one day, soon after, my food was so pretty and tasty too! I was so happy and kept telling friends and family about how amazing my food was. Everyone knows I am not a kitchen person and did not even know how to cook. Seems like a joke for them. But for me it’s a question. Something is hiding in me for many years (too long) and I wondered why I could never cook??I love to eat and I am very picky about my food. And part of my lifestyle and culture is a very big deal too. This is not an accident that my food turns out amazing and I love that happy feeling. I need to find out how good I can be. February 2016 I brought myself to Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School to prove this is not an accident or a joke because I’m going to be a chef. 45
