Joining the Nurse Aide Training Program by Manuel Rodriguez
My past experiences and my future dreams are the reasons why I decided to join the Nurse Aide Training Program . It is a long story and I want to explain a little bit .
Before I came to the United States , I wanted to be a doctor . But when I moved here , everything changed . I arrived in Puerto Rico first but it was difficult to study to be a doctor . So , I decided to become a Licensed Practical Nurse instead . Now I ’ m in Washington , D . C . but it is also difficult for me to study medicine because of the language and the lifestyle . I have responsibilities and duties like my job , school , family and the routine of living a healthy life .
I have studied at Carlos Rosario School for 1 year . I am in ESL level 6 and studying Nurse Aide . It is the first step in to the health field . The health field is my passion and it is what I wanted as a child . I am grateful for Carlos Rosario School for helping me achieve my dreams . After I finish the Nurse Aide Training Program , I want to go to college and be a professional in the health area .
