One of the happiest moments
in my life was in Seville, Spain
2008. I was one of the fastest
marathon runners. Running is
a part of life for me. In 2008,
I participated in Seville’s city
marathon for the first time. I
ran my personal best 2 hours
13 minutes. This time my life
light began to shine. I also
enjoy running. I stay strong. I
run fast. This was one of the
happiest moments of my life.

I have had good and happy
moments in my life. One of the
most special was when two of my
younger children and I met with my
husband here in Washington, DC.
After eight years without seeing
him, he emigrated in 2008 from
El Salvador. This great meeting
happened two years ago on the
1st of January 2015 at 1am after
25 long days of odyssey, we finally
met. That was an exciting night. We
hugged, cried, and thanked God
for the opportunity he gave us to
be together again. I think it’s one
of the best and happiest moments
of my life. I am sure that I won’t
ever forget.
