ESL 5 The Best Moment In My Life By Yaira A. Abuhatab Aragon  I have had many good and happy moments in my life. I remember, one of the most special was when I got my master's degree in Science—Biology in the auditorium “Che” of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota city. I remember, this was the evening of October 14, 2011. The best moment was when the university gave me a recognition (a diploma with a “meritorial distinction”) for writing an excellent thesis. I was studying for 2 and a half years of which a year I wrote the thesis. I remember that there were more than 120 graduates and more than 500 guests. I remember also that my aunt (mother's sister), my cousin, my uncle (father's brother), his wife and older son and my best friends were there and they were proud and cheered me. However, I was a little sad because my parents couldn't be there. My mom had to work and my father was here in Washington, D.C. Both my mother and my father called me after the ceremony and said they were very proud of me.
