The Suntrust Bank Building, formerly the
National Savings and Trust Company
Building, at the corner of 15th Street and
new York Avenue, was constructed in 1888
to the design of architect James T. Windrim.
A series of additions were made by various
architects in 1916, 1925, and 1985.
Elizabeth Allison’s “River Gazers” was one of
seven sculptures unveiled along the Hudson
River in Riverside Park between West 61st
St. and West 69th St. in Manhattan
