This program includes hardware and
software concepts as well as advanced
Windows Operating Systems. Students are
provided classroom and hands-on instruction
that help them prepare to pass both A+
certification tests required to become fully
certified Computer Support Specialists.
The hardware portion of the class teaches
students the history of computers, their
various components, and how computers
function. The software portion teaches
students operating system fundamentals,
an overview of computer programs, use of
commands for local/network administration,
and how to troubleshoot software issues.
Advanced Windows operating system
includes installation and configuration
of Windows Client and Server Operating
Systems. Instruction is geared toward English
language learners.
