I Met P siden re Oba m a H ow Level 7 t It was on Sunday afternoon. I was working at Blair House, the President’s Guest House. Blair House was holding a big meeting of different people from around the world for a nuclear summit meeting. I was in the pantry, because my job is to help the waitresses with the dishes (cups, glasses, plates, drinks, food and so on). I didn’t know that President Obama was coming through the pantry. Because of security no one was supposed to be there but when he came, I didn’t have enough time to get out, so I tried to hide myself between the cabinets in the pantry. I didn’t want the President to see me. President Obama passed with the security man. I felt relieved when he passed by and didn’t see me, but it wasn’t true. He came back and saluted me! “How are you doing? Is everything okay?” he asked. I just answered his questions. Afterwards I realized that besides being the President, he is a good politician and a wonderful human being. Terezinha Vitor Teacher: Pamela Hodel, EVE 73
