When I got a visa lottery to America, I came
from Ethiopia with my two sons and my
husband. I used to live with my cousin. I was
pregnant. After three months I delivered a
baby. It was my third son. My husband and I
did not work. It
was a hard life
for us. Then my
husband got a
job. After that
we rented an
apartment. I
got a job, too.
Now, thank God,
we are a happy
family. This is my
life.
