Black History Month Michelle Obama Mrs. Michelle Obama’s words always are on my mind because when I was a child, if I wanted something, I worked for that. For example when I was a child, my grandmother told me, “You can’t study because we don’t have money.” But I didn’t care and I finished my college and now I am in the USA, a place with more opportunity for my goals and my daughter’s goals, too. I never let what somebody else says distract me from my goals because in my life I always worked for my goals and for my victories. I know who I am. I am a winner because nobody distracts me. So, thank you, Mrs. Obama, for your lessons that you gave us. It’s perfect for all people that have dreams. This lesson is about motivation. Let’s go, everyone, “Believe in yourself!” Juan Pablo Castro Teacher: Lisa Walker, Level 3, PM 100
