Yes, We Can! By Mariana Amaya Cammack PM Level 4 My country is Colombia. It’s the Northeast country of South America. It has 43 million people. My country doesn’t have seasons because it is in the tropic zone. The country has two long coasts, The Atlantic and Pacific. In these regions there are many very poor children who do not often have opportunities to go to school. My dream is living in those regions and teaching children and young people reading and writing. I think that everybody has the right to read. I believe that education is the base for societies’ development. Reading transforms humans. People can see the world through words, sentences, paragraph, essays and transform societies. I hope to be able in the future to build a terrific library for every kid. 5 Yes, We Can! We can share our cultu contribute to a great society. This is a great country where everyone can have future. We can adapt to our new lives. We can learn the official language of thi and contribute to have a good education. We can be an example to show that the immigrants are respectful workers society. We can work and respect each other.
