Bio-Poem
By Griselda Vasquez
Serious in her work, studious, funny and
friendly
Wife of Ricardo, and parent of Raul and Nicole
Lover of shared time with her family, continuing studies, and all kinds of music
Whose house is always clean
Who needs a better job, to have a nice vacation, and time for herself
Who gives love, takes care of her family, and takes care of other people
Who fears the Lord, losing her family, not finishing her education
Who would like to see peace in the world, children without hunger, and no-calorie
chocolate
Resident of Riggs Park where she feels safe and comfortable at home

My Embarrassing Moment
By Elsa Acxume
Last year on New Year I went to my friend‟s house and we were jumping on
the trampoline. I was wearing really tight pants, my favorite pants by the way,
and we were doing toe touches one, two, three, four, five, six. When I did my
toe touches my pants ripped all the way from the top to the bottom in the back.
I was so embarrassed because one of my crushes was there, and he saw everything. I‟ve never jumped on the trampoline again with tight pants on.
