My Wedding Day Important Person By Silvia Arias By Maria das Dores The people at my wedding were happy and they congratulated, kissed, and hugged me and my husband. Everyone helped at the reception. They cooked and brought drinks. The church was full of my family and friends. We were all happy and excited. The photographer took videos and photos. Everybody brought gifts. They conversed and danced. Everyone ate the wonderful food and had wine. Everyone was friendly and kissed and hugged each other. When we got tired, people cleaned the tables and went home. That night we went to sleep at 4:30 in the morning. We woke up at 10:30 am. I moved to Alexandria to be with my husband who lived in Washington, DC. We were very happy because we have a lot of friends in DC now we have one child and we are a loving family. The important person to me is my friend Iza. She lives in the same building. She is 60 years old. She is very nice to me, and helps a lot. Every time I need help she is there. She has a car, and she gives me a ride every Sunday. We go to the same church. I met her when I first came to this country. We are still friends. We used to be roommates for some time. Then she got married, but her husband died. She is 60 years old but acts like a young person. She loves music, to sing, and dance. She eats a lot of sweets, like kids. She doesn‟t like to go to school, she is lazy. I talk to her about going to school and learning some more. But she says no. She likes to get home and go to bed. She doesn‟t have any kids. She has brown skin and long black hair.
