while froffing at the new autograph they be
giving me – ohh gotta get a happy snap shot

Any other gigs coming up soon on the Coast?
We do have our regular street party at the
Byron Fresh Cafe and we intend to host some
killer park jams as usual each summer in the
main park at Byron. This, of course, is how it all
started for The People Party ?? ? running back
alley renegade parties and wild street jams.
We have also been chilling for a bit while we
record our self-titled EP MSPP for release in the
new year, so gigs are chill at the moment - just
the local venues and tours planned for March
onward.
You released a debut single Round One in
February 2013, so when can we expect Round
Two?
YEAH YEAH!!! That’s how I like it. The EP is
looking pretty TASTY & GRIMY!!! It will be about
an eight-track release with some serious
unique Mr Speaker flavour and People Party
attitude. Look for the release date on our
Facebook page early 2014.
Do any of you surf on your turf and if so, on
what and how was your last session?
Man - half of us are from Byron or live near
to Byron and The Mighty Mr Speaker lives five
mins from Burleigh Beach … so what do you
reckon? YEAH BRA!!! We surf!!! At least four
out of the seven surf hard and the others have
been keen to get into it - Timmy our Sax player
just picked up a new 5 8’ quad shaped by his
mate Jye Glass from Velvet Groove boards
Byron and just surfed it all day out at Main
Beach today and loves the sucker!!! I bought
a 6 3’ second hand JR and I am currently
doing a spray paint job on it!! BOOYEAH!! Oh
yeah, got a new skateboard too … gunna hit
up the West Burleigh Bowl all Christmas - praise
God that’s awesome!!
