11. State/County Highway Cleanup: Club picks up trash along highway. 12. Christmas Dinner and Toys for Tots Drive: Club sponsors dinner and collects toys for local children ages 0-18. 13. Senior Breakfast: Club prepares and serves a free breakfast for area seniors on New Year’s Day in cooperation with the Senior Center. 14. Run/Walk for Sight: Club conducts a 5k run/walk each fall. Sell ads to local businesses and publish the ads in a booklet that is distributed 5-6 weeks prior to the event encouraging people to patronize the business. Charge an entrance fee and provide a t-shirt with entry fee. Ribbons and plaques are awarded. In-kind donations are solicited and a drawing is conducted for gifts with a grand prize.
