Sylvanvale cocktail party
Glowing cocktails , fire-eating violinists and artistic ice carvings were all part of Sylvanvale ’ s annual cocktail party held at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre in New South Wales . The event raised more than $ 37,000 and means Sylvanvale is now much closer to its goal of creating a state of the art hub for children with disability . 1 . Mare from Strings on Fire . 2 . Dinner in the dark
More than 350 guests attended the Can : Do 4Kids ‘ Dinner in the Dark ’ held at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide . The night raised $ 108,000 , with funds going directly to support the vital services provided by Can : Do 4Kids for young South Australians living in darkness or silence .
Rock Carnival
Close to 450 guests enjoyed an electrifying night at the Minda and Phil Hoffmann Travel Rock Carnival , at the Adelaide Convention Centre . In celebration of Minda ’ s 120th anniversary , and inspired by the hit movie Grease , guests stepped back in time for a rock extravaganza featuring carnival amusements and fabulous entertainment by Australian rock singer Swanee , Adelaide band Lucky Seven , and a dance performance from across the decades by Precizion Dance . Event MCs were Minda ambassador Katrina Webb and radio presenter Angus O ’ Loughlin , who made a grand entrance to the carnival in the back of a Plymouth Fury 1959 convertible .
