The biennial Sit Down Shutup and Watch Film and
New Media Festival was held in South Australia’s
Barossa Valley and showcased short films where a
person with a learning disability was at the heart of
the creative process. Pictured are 1. Sam Bateman,

Amelia Rix award
CBS Inc in South Australia held its
Amelia Rix Award ceremony at Adelaide
Entertainment Centre, with Michael Nettle
and Zoe Michalanney (pictured) being
named winner and runner-up respectively.
The award is held in memory of the late
Amelia Rix who was a long-term participant
in CBS Inc’s Jobnet Employment Program.
