The “Best Enviroment Friendly Project” was given
to the operation’s two environmental projects,
the Kids Enviro Club and Dubai Duty Free
Environmetal Tagline Competition introduced
during the World Environment Day 2017. The entry
emphasized Dubai Duty Free’s mission to deepen
employee awareness on personal responsibility
and commitment to adopt sustainable practices
with long term impacts towards environmental
protection.
Furhermore, Dubai Duty Free was presented
with “Workplace Safety and Heatlh Performance
Award” for its extent on health. safety procedures
and practices demonstrated in a day-to-day
activities including its excellent annual key
performance results that reflect a strong health
and safety culture within the organisation.
To date, Dubai Duty Free has won a total of eleven
awards from CMO Asia since 2014.
Google and Walmart team up
to take on Amazon

on Google Express, and follows Amazon’s
announcement about acquiring supermarket
chain Whole Foods
Walmart, the world’s biggest retailer, and Google,
the internet’s predominant search engine, are
teaming up in an attempt to challenge Amazon’s
