Complex Sites We regularly help development clients to negotiate challenging sites. In addition to landscape design, this brownfield housing site in Lisvane required a soil resource report, arboricultural method statement and detailed levels analysis, all provided by Lingard Styles. Another Appeal Success A wind turbine near Clywedog Reservoir has been granted permission on appeal. Lingard Styles were key to the success, providing a detailed Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and appeal support. Hertfordshire Golf Club Construction The new year will see the opening of the former Chadwell Springs Golf Club. The project has included the extensive remodelling of the old golf course, the addition of a new driving range with the added bonus of a new destination gastro pub. Peter Styles was recently elected vice president of Kew Guild, the assocation of Kew Gardens' staff and students, past and present Peter is also Kew's external examiner in design. Regenerating Cardiff In one of several schemes in the area, we recently provided a landscape scheme for 47 new-build apartments on a brownfield site in Cardiff. The planning authority required a high quality landscape scheme due to the site's prominent location on a major route into the city. • 9 College Hill, Shrewsbury, SY1 1LZ tel: 0333 456 1132 • The Studio, Farm Lodge, Welshpool, SY21 8HJ e: [email protected] @lingardstyles
