Sectional items for NALF news, national agricultural news feeds, NALJA news, weather, and markets will be available on this app. More importantly, breeders will be able to purchase attractive advertising slots that will send push notifications prior to your sales where customers can view your sale catalogs, videos, and consignments. There will also be direct links to the NALF-DigitalBeef registry platform, among many other features with upgraded services and advertising opportunities for breeders. NALF will also be restructuring the circulation format of its three tabloid editions of LIMOUSIN TODAY. NALF will be sending out 20,000 printed copies of the tabloid edition three times annually, but this circulation will be supplemented digitally to 15,000 email subscribers as soon as the print edition is mailed out. This digital link will take viewers to the NALF website where the magazine will be readable online. This targeted audience should be a valuable advertising tool for our breeders to take advantage of right now to increase their customer base. NALF members will also be able to take advantage of this marketing tool when ordering eblast for their production and private treaty sales. Contact the NALF office for further information and details. The NALF headquarters office will continue operations for membership, registry, and DNA services. Alison Jones will be taking over the duties of Brittany Barrick in DNA services. NALF will be hiring a replacement for Alison’s duties in membership, accounting, and billing, who will also work with her in DNA services. We wish Brittany Barrick the best as she moves into her new role and opportunity with Eurofins, a genetic testing company for many species of livestock. Brittany has been instrumental in the development of DNA testing services and the total restructure of the LIMS whole herd reporting program at NALF. Long time and valued employee, Stephanie Kramer- Beddo, will continue as NALF’s registry and member service specialist. Katie Campbell will continue as NALF’s director of activities and will be the main contact and oversight of the upcoming ILC Congress during July 2018 in Colorado. These structural changes are not being taken haphazardly. The NALF Board has been analyzing and evaluating these changes to not only operate more efficiently, but also to improve and upgrade member services to all our membership.
