NALF staff is excited to launch the new E-Partners . The e-newsletter is will be delivered to your mailbox EVERY Wednesday morning with current news , NALF news , upcoming events , etc . Our hope is to provide Limousin breeders with the most up-to-date information and enhance the communication between headquarters and you . Previous editions of the NALF E-Partners can be found under the NEWS tab at NALF . org
Rush Orders on Registrations and Transfers
When mailing in rush registrations and transfers , please print RUSH on the outside of the envelope and when emailing please put RUSH in the subject line . Since the busy time of year is upon us in the NALF office , this will help to make sure your work gets processed immediately . The $ 25.00 rush fee for each certificate , noted on the self-billing worksheet , is in effect as of now . There are no rush orders available on lab work and ET calves .
Lower DNA Prices
NALF provides DNA testing options for : parentage , horned / polled status , coat color , F94L , genetic abnormalities , a high- and lowdensity Limousin Genomic Profiler , tenderness , and feed efficiency . The prices for these tests have changed , so make sure you check out the new prices with the link below .

Keep up-to-date with the International Limousin Congress by following the Facebook page : 2018 International Limousin Congress . This is a great resource for the schedule of events and hotel information for the 2018 ILC hosted in Denver .
AI Sire / Donor Dam Information
All AI sires and donor dams born in 2015 or later are required to have a GGP-HD genomic profile on file in addition to parent verification for sires and sire verification for donor dams . Animals born before 2015 do not require the genomic profile but do require either parent or sire verification through SNP DNA typing . They
38 | NOVEMBER 2017 must also be tested for any genetic condition ( AM , NH , Proto , etc .) that they are a potential carrier for . AI Sire Permits are recommended on any new AI sire and can be added by contacting Alison Jones in the NALF office .

NALF Says Goodbye to Jennifer Scharpe
Jennifer Scharpe has resigned from NALF , with her last day in the office being October 18 . We wish her the best as she moves into her new role and opportunity with Colorado Foundation for Agriculture . Jennifer has played an instrumental part in development of LIMOUSIN TODAY ®. We can ’ t say thank you enough for her being an instrumental part in the growing of the Foundation and wish her nothing but success in the future !
So what does this mean for the Foundation ... NALF has moved its layout of the Limousin Today magazine to the NCBE office . Limousin breeders will still place their advertising orders with our regional field managers , Andy Rest and Corey Wilkens . Mallory Blunier will be the head contact for NALF ’ s communication services . Amy Clarkson will continue to design ads and work with breeders on projects to help promote their programs . I
